It's a new week -  time for scheduling and planning! I'm writing my thesis which has the first version deadline at the end of the week. This week takes some serious planning so that I can manage everything else while I'm trying to make the deadline. It'll be a busy one!

The paper and home products by Present & Correct are very neat. Monday organizing is like dancing with this chalk clipboard and the letterpress timetable. Such classics. Happy beginning of the week, peeps!

Feeling crafty? These diy projects make party planning fun. A handmade menu wheel and lighted paper garland give any fall party that little extra something. You can find the full instructions for the menu wheel here, and for the garland here.

The clever designs are created by Anna Bond, an illustrator and paper goods designer from Rifle Design. Anna is a contributor at Once Wed, and she also writes the Rifle blog. Busy woman! I just love her work. (Psst, Rifle shop coming soon!)

I'm excited - new designs from Iittala! Iittala just launched a new concept, the Art Works collection. The idea of the collection is to give a different designer every year, along with a team of craftsmen, an opportunity to explore their creativity, experiment with their chosen materials and push the boundaries of art and design. Iittala’s international breakthrough in the 1950s and 1960s was largely driven by the exquisite art pieces, and the new collection continues this tradition.

Harri Koskinen, a world known Finnish designer begins the Art Works collection with these extraordinary pieces. These are true pieces of art. Absolutely beautiful.

Am I the only one who feels like making lists of everything this time of year? It must be the approaching fall. I think I will leave my vacation week at the cottage with a notepad full of tasks, goals and ideas. Make-a-list notepad by ohsogood is the perfect item for us list makers.

I haven't shared a Finnish design find with you in a while. Iittala birds are a decoration piece that get noticed. I love their new pastel shades.

I'm blogging at kind of half speed for a little while now. I'm in a fortunate situation of having too much work - I have a tight schedule of food photo shoots going on. I'm enjoying it but in the same time, I can't find as much time to blog as I would like to. So, don't wonder where I disapeared. I'll be back full speed again soon.
