The days in Tuscany were beautiful, relaxed, happy and delicious. The best thing about the vacation was to share it all with amazing people: the loveliest Juls, and two other dear food blogger friends Sarka and Bethany and their significant others. So much laughter and great memories. Thank you so much for inviting us to your home Juls, and thanks to the whole gang for the unforgettable time. You are wonderful.

Hey everyone! How have you been these last two weeks? Our vacation in the US was wonderful; the loveliest time spent with family and friends, gorgeous weather, great food and fun trips around. Although, we already miss everyone terribly, it's good to be home and of course back to blogging. Thank you for all the bon voyage wishes!

The first day of July and the first day of my vacation. The bags are all packed - I'm ready to go! We'll be spending time with family and friends in the US, so I'll be on a light blogging schedule for the next few weeks. We are planning to have a barbecue for the 4th of July, and to explore some local farmer's markets and restaurants. Maybe we'll make a quick foodie day trip to Chicago. Please, let me know if you have tips for good restaurants and food markets in the windy city! I can't wait to cook with all the fresh produce in season there, and I will definitely share some of it with you here. Have a lovely week! I'll see you soon!
After a two week long heat wave, it got colder here yesterday. So in addition to a warm cup of coffee, this Monday morning needs some extra inspiration. That inspiration could be this lovely beach house. The fresh Scandinavian style is created with lots of washed wood, clean colors and light rooms. We are going to the cottage this weekend; it's time to dust and clean, wash and rake. The summer cottage season is almost here! I love the atmosphere of this cottage. I can't wait for those light summer nights by the lake.

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a relaxing one. I thought I would share some kitchen decoration inspiration with you all on this sunny Monday. I found a few cute details in these photographs that I would like to bring in my kitchen this spring. I just love the little yellow accents!
It's the sunniest and warmest day of early spring here + it's Friday! Really can't complain. We are entertaining some guests this weekend. My sister and her fiance will be visiting us - so much fun! There is an international short film festival going on here this weekend, so we are planning to go to see a few screenings. It'll be a great weekend to walk around downtown since it's suppose to be this sunny tomorrow as well. And of course we will make some good food (and drink some red wine along with it)!
I got purple tulips from Mr. B earlier this week. We have had at least five different colors of tulips in the last couple weeks. They really bring the spring inside! I thought I would share a photograph of some gorgeous red ones from a few weeks ago. I already have a few recipes in mind for next week, so I'll see you then. Have a sunny weekend!
