The sad phenomenon continues - magazines are folding one after one. Now it's Gourmet Magazine's turn. Their November issue will be the last one after 68 years of food and wine reporting. I'll definitely miss their smart writing and incredible photography.

As a sweet goodbye, I picked three of my favorite fall dessert recipes by Gourmet. I really enjoy the color palette of the fall issue of Maalaisunelma. The fall home by this Finnish magazine is warm and natural. What a beautiful cover with pale shades of gray and vivid orange.

I was able to share one of my favorite blogs, Decor8 with some Finnish magazine readers. I write for Kodin Kuvalehti magazine at the moment, and wrote a little piece about Holly Becker's lovely blog.

{ cherries, cherries, cherries }

I get obsessed with cherries this time of year. They are the best fresh, bought from a fruit stand in the market place. After I could save some and not eat them all, I have looked for cherry dessert recipes.

The ever so inspiring Dutch Libelle gives a couple of ideas how to enjoy these dark red gems of nature. What is your favorite cherry recipe?

Hey there, my lovely readers. I think it's officially okay to start to say it's summer, not spring anymore. Even here in the North, the weather has turned warm and the nature is blooming. This year, the new season also brings new challenges for me.

I have moved to Helsinki with my fiance, and started an exciting work period in a magazine. I will be sharing my summer in the new city with you while diving deep into the world of magazines. What are you looking forward to this summer?
