The weather report is promising us a cold and snowy weekend. I know many of you are living in a much warmer climate (I do envy you sometimes), but this year many places that don't usually get snow have been able to enjoy a white winter. I enjoy seasons in the nature (and also in my cooking), although it is sometimes hard to remember it when looking at the thermometer. Have you had more snow than usual? We are having tons! (And would be happy give some to Vancouver if we could.)
This weekend, I think we'll put many layers of warm clothes on, go for a walk on the frozen lake and drink some hot chocolate. After all, these are probably the last weekends to enjoy the winter weather, and it'll be spring before we even know it. So, friends with or without snow, enjoy the season and have a wonderful weekend! I'll see you again next week!
{ psst. you can find my photographs also on flickr and twitpic }
I love snow in moderation. We've had far too much this season which is making for tensions. However, it has allowed me to cook and bake more, so I really can't complain. :)

It's been snowing off & on all week here, and just TONS of snow has fallen in the last two days... crazy now--LOL! This winter has been really hard. Where I come from originally, there was little snow in winter. Now living in Norway, though I've been here some many years, it has taken time to get used to "real winter". I can't honestly say I like the snow...LOL! I dream of spring... :o) Happy Weekend, Tiina

It snowed all day long today, and yesterday was record cold (-22 F!) with strong winds. Spring, you are warmly welcome to arrive soon:)
